Say What? Misticon Technical Jacket? Oh yeah!

Inspired by the success of her sell out signature range 'MOTO SNO' in TopShop Charlotte decided to create a new clothing range of her own and so the idea for 'Misticon' was born. As someone who has spent her life traveling around the globe to diverse environments whether it’s modeling on the catwalks in Milan or snowboarding in the Rockies, Charlotte's motivation is to produce clothes that combine practicality with fashion and always allow for fun!
Charlotte has been snowboarding since the age of 11, and spent 12 years competing at the highest level.

Her seasons were spent primarily in North America, where she would participate in both Canadian and US competitions. Charlotte competed in a number of European contests, concentrating largely upon the half-pipe.

Charlotte has put together an impressive résumé of results:

• USA Nike Snowboard Series; 3rd in Half-pipe - Bronze Medal
• French Regional Championship; 1st in Half-pipe - Gold Medal
• FIS Continental Open Cup; 3rd in Half-pipe - Bronze Medal
• ISF World Championship
• US Snowboard Championship; 1st in Junior Slalom; 1st in Junior GS; 8th Overall Senior

Morocco and too manys gigs

Gosh, it has been an age since my last update. I have just been too busy having fun. Last time we spoke, I was getting ready for Slam Dunk Festival, which happend on the 2nd may bank holiday - blimey end of may?! I have seriously neglected on the blog front! Though to honest, it wasn't the best of experiences!

Read my review here!

But lots of gigs in June got me back on track including the amazing bagpipe folk punks Dropkick Murphys at Brixton Academy and Scottish indie rockers Idlewild at The Forum. Aerosmith at the 02 showed that they were still the bad boys from Boston on their Cocked, Locked and Ready to Rock Tour. Though saying that they did play a very similar set to when I saw them at Hyde Park three years ago! It was a nice warm up though as the following day I went to Morocco on holiday with Mr One Piece! We stayed in Marrakech, which is famous for its snake charmers, markets and souks; as well as lovely food and lots of haggling!

We also managed to fit in an excursion to the Sahara Desert, staying the night in a tent with lots of other back packers. The desert people took us on camel rides as well as cooking for us and playing music into the night. Watching the sunset and sun rise out there was amazing! On route to the Sahara we also got to see the atlas mountains, where Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia was filmed as well as other sites and casbahs! Truly memorable and I recommend going to you all!

If that weren't enough, a few days later after returning I was off to Hyde Park to see Sir Paul MacCartney play a mammouth two hour set of solo, Wings and Beatles classics. Though Coming Up and Temporary Secretary were missing, the likes of Band on the Run, Hey Jude, Live and Let Die, Jet, Get Back, Eleanor Rigby, Helter Skelter, Back in the USSR, Paper back Writer, Lady Madonna, Yesterday and Let It Be were all in there to temper the missing faves!

Day Tripper was a great surprise as it's a Lennon penned Beatles track, and Macca tends to stick to his own numbers!

And it was all rounded off with Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, which has the lyrics 'We hope you will enjoy the show'. Great way to end! We all certainly did.

Snoop Dogg bans blokes from his party

Methuselah was flowing in the VIP area of Merah Club as Snoop Dogg celebrated his first uk show for sometime (wireless festival).
Word is that the rapper's security team made sure he was surrounded by beautiful women all night and that no other men would be allowed into his sealed of area.
Snoop who is married with three kids hasn't been accused of any bad behaviour though. He didn't even drink a drop of the booze he'd forked out 20k for.
