Aha finally someone has come up with a useful sensor. Fed up with seeing news about celebs like Justin Beiber every time you log on? Now a software developer in the states has come up with a useful soloution. Shaved Bieber is a firefox plugin that blocks all mention of the 16 year old singers name from any site including his own. The developer Greg Leuch was quoted "Personal censorship is an emerging idea in response to government and business censorship; an approach to providing a free, open, and neutral web that can still be censored by the individual,".
This news comes just days after Twitter blocks JustinBeiber as a trending topic. Fans are appauled and one particularly aggrivated teen wrote to the developer : "I just wanted to give you the heads-up that you will have MANY people that are enraged with you. I'm talking 5,000,000. Me included.I realise that you're just stating an opinion, but what you're doing is going back to World War II all over again. Hitler wanting to erase Jews from society - you want to erase Justin Bieber."
It took the developer 6 hours to create the application after friends mentioned that they were fed up of seeing the singers name appear in their online browsing.
Beiber owes his succes to the internet as hew was discovered on Youtube when his mother posted videos of him singing.

Katie Price "furious" at Peter Andre

Peter Andre wished his ex step son Harvey a Happy Birthday over twitter on Thursday but caused upset with his ex wife Katie Price (know married to Alex Reid) when he failed to show up in person.
Peter who has two other children (Junior and Princess ) with the glamour model had formed a close bond with 8 year old Harvey (biological son of Dwight York) during his marriage to Katie.
A source was stirring up trouble by claiming Katie (aka Jordan) was furious.

When asked by a follower who's birthday it was Peter responded "My Son."

Pendulum have first ever UK number 1 album

Pendulum have knocked Michael Buble off the top spot in this weeks album chart with their new album Immersion. It beats their previous high with their 2008 album In Silico (which peaked at number 2 in the album charts in the UK).
It follows the Australian bands appearance at Radio Ones Big Weekend. When front man Rob Swire was asked how the Drum and Base group would celebrate by a Sun Music reporter he responded -"I'm not sure. We'll be in Portsmouth, we might have a drink. You need to protect your voice when you're on tour."

GLOOMFEST

I have been having so many adventures of late that I nearly forgot to tell you about the day I manned a splat the teddy game, got my face painted as a psychedelic tiger and dressed up as a robot, or gloombot and played connect 4 with passers by!

All this took place at the wonderful Gloomfest, a night curated by my favourite party starters Cliff and Len from the Feeling Gloomy/Club De Fromage / Hairbrush Heroes / Down with Dating club nights.

The boys were asked to put together an area of fun and frolics in Brixton Village's indoor market which is just tucked behind the tube station. It was a little gem of a place with cool cafes and quirky restaurants as well as tasty markets and funky clothing stores. The atmosphere was great with punters embracing the fun of gorrilla twister, air guitar lessons, Morrissey poetry corner, cake stalls, Italian cooking classes, interactive theatre, teddy races, face painting and even a bit of live music.

As said the night is currated by Feeling Gloomy the world’s first club devoted to sad music. Luckily the boys this time were in happy mode so are threw together loads of interesting people in a fiesta of fun to open the very first of these late nights in Brixton. As promoter Mike Toller says, “It’s a great honour to kick this off. Its going to be a lot of fun and we are really pleased to be able to support Brixton market, which is still a real hub for the community in these days of chain shops. Though with only a few days to organize it there will be a touch of anarchy about the whole thing!”

Brixton Village is a superb example of 1930’s market which sadly had recently fallen in to decay with over a ¼ of its units empty. In the past 6 months Space Makers Agency has been working with the market's owners (London & Associated Properties), Lambeth council and local residents to bring life back to the deserted corners of the building. Empty shops were offered to temporary creative projects and new long-term businesses, attracting a range of new independent cafes, restaurants, fashion and design shops, as well as community-driven spaces. These initiatives have breathed new life in to the market so it will continue to be part of the beating heart of Brixton.

Advised by the judge to steer clear of Drink and Alchohol in order to stay out of Prison. Michael Lohan spoke to TMZ and said that it wouldnt be wise for the actress to "detox on her own" and that she should be "under a doctors care".

Ahh Sunday New stories! This one is a bit different though. Aparantly Brad Pitt star of Fight Club and Oceans 11 is planning on taking Obama out. He has his sights set on a political career. A source was reported as saying on the matter
"Angelina Jolie would love to be First Lady. Brad will run for Senate and if all goes well will mount a bid to become President in 2016," . The insider also added "He's obsessed with legalising pot. He believes it would be the biggest moneymaker since the internet."
He might be the best looking candidate for the presidency but we somehow doubt his credentials for running the USA- No more than George Bush though.

Brittany Murpheys Husband Simon Monjack found dead five months on

Brittany Murphey was often compared to a 30's hollywood siren. Her death was shocking five months ago and now there is a new twist to the tale. Just five months after Brittany Murphey was found in her shower having a cardiac arrest - her brit husband Simon Monjack has died after a suspected heart attack.
Attempts were made to resuscitate the 39 year old but failed. Simon had been subject of controversy in the papers after he tried to pursuade the police not to carry out a post mortem on the clueless star.
He was shook up by the death of his wife, leaving all her belongings as they were and couldn't bear the thought of her having her body cut up by forensics.
Brittany was officialy diagnosed as having a complicated case pneumonia and the coroners official had indicated that drug use kick started the cardiac arrest. The 8 mile star's death was deemed an accident.
This is not the first incident of heart trouble that Monjack has suffered with having had a heart attack last year whilst on vacation.

Amy Winehouse has been admitted to hospital after a heavy drinking session lef ther feeling unwell. The singer has been reported by The Sun to be in the Mayfair Clinic. This is her fourth visit to hospital in six months. It comes on the run up to her new album release. A source told the newspaper: "She's there because she had a load to drink and was really unwell afterwards. Not just sick, really poorly.

"But as she really likes it in there, she was happy to go in for a few days. She's spending more time in the clinic than anywhere else at the moment."

Noteabley her last admitance to hospital came after she bruised her boobs in a hospital fall!

Girl Next Door Kendra Trying for another baby

You've really got to hand it to Kendra Wilkinson. The most succesful of the three Heffner girlfriends from the series Girls Next Door (or Girls of the Playboy Mansion) is keen to put that nasty sex tape scandal behind her. According to US mag Life and Style she and her husband Hank Basset are trying to get pregnant with their second child.
"Kendra knows she upset Hank over all this sex-tape stuff, and she wants it all to go away. Focusing on another baby would help," a source said.

"They've been trying for a second child for a while. And Kendra hopes it will happen sooner rather than later."

Lindsay Lohan under warrant!

Whoop Whoop- Lindsay will be dodging the sirens all day today under the news that a judge has issued a bench warrant for the struggling celeb after she failed to show in court yesterday.
The troubled singer actress was critisised for being photographed partying whilst in cans amongst sceptism that she wouldn't get the clear bill for attending driving and alchoholic awareness meetings post DUI scandal.
The judge has now revoked Lohan's probation and set bail at $100,000 (£69,883) for the Mean Girls star, who is reportedly still in France, where she is attending the Cannes Film Festival.

"She has a history of not keeping scheduled appointments. I couldn't be more clear about the priority of this case and getting things done," said Judge Marsha Revel.

She added: "She should have made sure she either didn't go to Cannes or, if she went there, she should be back two days early. If she wanted to be here, it looks to the court she could have been here... She's not here. There's really no valid excuse."
Her agent had warned on Wednesday that her Passport had been stolen and would therefore be unlikely to make her probation hearing. The singer is set to fly over from Cannes today to Los Angeles.

Kate Moss has been a victiom of banksy burglary

Woah. It's not been a great week for Kate Moss after Courtney Love spilled the beans about their sexual relationship in the 90's its now come to light that a twenty four year old mand was arrested at her £7m Maida Vale Property where she lives with on off boyfriend Kills Front Man Jamie Hince.
It is believed that the thief stole valuable Banksy Artwork. Police could not confirm if the singer was in the residence at the time.

Courtney Love Claims Kate Moss was her lover

Ahh we love Courtney Love, we thought we had just about gotten over every curve ball she could lob our way when she squels to the papers yesterday . When asked if she had been with another a women she turned around to the Irish mag Hot Press and said "It was Kate Moss. She doesn't care. She talks about it and so I hope she doesn't get mad that I outed her about it".

Pictured above Kurt Cobain's widow and hole lead singer Courtney Love with international supermodel Kate Moss. Courtney (who has also starred in some film roles including "The People Vs Larry Flint") claimed she and Kate had an affair in Milan in the 90's.

"It's a great story for the grandchildren, so yeah ... Kate wasn't doing a lot of drugs, It was just a thing that happened in Milan in the 90s,” she said.

"It happened and it was fun and whatever."

Love, who has battled heroin addiction in the past, insisted that Moss was a "good friend".

"I feel like such a kiss and tell. Kate's great, though! I almost bought her house in St John's Wood, London," she said.

This news comes streat after Reports of her Kissing and Telling about her alleged affair with Gavin Rossdale whilst he was dating his now wife (and mother of his two kids) No Doubt Front Lady Gwen Steffani.

Sounds like someone is in need of some cash.

Lily's Tears of Joy After Picking up Three Gongs

Lily Allen looks set to leave the music biz a happy lady after swooping three Ivor Novello awards last night. Two for her hit single "The fear". It marks the end of her career as Lily has announced she has her heart set on opening a boutique with her sister.

No Sleep Til Bournemouth!

So 60 Million Postcards in Bournemouth most certainly got the One Piece treatment this month when I DJed at their hip vs glam rock night. DJing alongside Lee7Seven of the Geek Chic Sounsystem I dropped the likes of Motley Crue, KISS, Velvet Revolver, Iron Maiden, Pantera and Def Leppard while Lee spun Beastie Boys, Black Sheep, JStar, ODB and Bel Biv Devoe!

Bel Biv Devoe was literally music to my ears! Not heard that in so long! What a choon! I literally leaped onto the dance floor when I heard that intro. Lee made my night when he played that!

What a night, can't wait for the next ROWYGO!

While in the glorious B Town, I also visited Monkey World and The Aquarium. The chimps were awesome and wanted a kiss from me, while the turtles, stingrays and sharks were too cool! Definitely worth a look if you're ever down in that part of the world! The beach was a tiny bit of a wash out sadly but I still managed to head to the pier and have a couple of rides on the helter skelter!

Two other cool nights I checked out when I was down there was Dollyrocker at The Winchester which played retro grooves, psychedelia, funk and soul and also We are your Friends: The Bloc Party. WAYF took over a load of clubs in Bournemouth, a bit like their version of the Camden Crawl or Stag and Dagger and boasted a line up including Utah Saints, Toddla T, Eddie Temple Morris, DJ Derek, Thomas Tantrum, Chew Lips, Tosh Ohta, Geek Chic Soundsystem featuring Lee7Seven, Shab Ruffcut Pony Up DJs (featuring my pal from uni Bonnie!) plus many more awesome DJs and bands!

Tiring work this partying but most definitely worth it! Bournemouth Rocks!

Marc Jacobs Shop Girl gets odd tip

Imagine you are opening up a Marc Jacobs store in the morning the mail comes through you open up an envelope addressed to you and inside you find a mass white powder. First thought? Anthrax? Possibley?
You call the FBI feeling a bit freeked, they show up deem it unimportant and pass the buck to your local copper.
The Good news? Its not anthrax. It's coke and the po-po are taking you down for questioning.
This was the day of the SoHo Marc Jacobs store worker this saturday. She was realeased without charge. "It appears to have been a huge mix-up," said a sourc "The girl has no idea why she was sent it. The cops are looking into whether it was intended for someone else in the building. But she was not happy with how she was treated by the police and is considering filing charges."
All we're saying is that's one hell of a tip from Lindsay Lohan.

Watching the news footage this morning- the point was raised that both Nick Clegg (Lib-Dem leader and now Deputy PM as part of the democrat-tory cabinet) and our new Prime Minister David (or should we still call you Dave?) Cameron are very young for leaders. Both 43 they are are over a decade younger than labour leader Gordon Brown and both a year younger than Tony Blair when he came to be PM in 1997. Cameron is the youngest PM then for nearly 200 years.
But his wife Samantha Cameron beats him by being the youngest first lady (prime ministers wife) as far as records can prove.
She's also going to be responsible for the second child born to number 10 in 150 years.
So now the Cam's have secured their names against Pitt the Younger in the history books.

Charlotte was noticeably drunk according to one onlooker who even went as far as to claim that Charlotte was snogging some of her girlfriends.

The 2010 Election- what the hell happened?

As we write this the General election looks pretty dodgy still and a lot of people are quite angry at what had happened at some of the polling stations yesterday (voters being turned away despite arriving before 10pm), there’s also been plenty of reports that suggest that Postal Votes are being intercepted and that people not eligible for the vote were sent ballot papers and were allowed to use them.
In the footage from TV reports it would seem that it was mainly young people who were waiting outside to vote.
It doesn’t seem very fair that after the electoral commission spent so much time and money (that tv ad campaign) spent so long trying to convince the under 25s vote that they should be turned away at the last hurdle.

We’d also like to here your opinion on the “first past the post” voting system. Is it fair that a large portion of voters could chose one party and then for them not to be adequately represented in the government?

Feeling your blood boil? Work Stress causes heart disease in young women

High Stress in the work place is more likely to cause heart disease in women under the age of 50 than any other external factor.
The study was conducted on 12’000 nurses by Danish research in Occupational and Environmental Medicine concludes work pressure has a greater effect on young women than those in their 50s and 60s.
Studies are more commonly done to investigate the link between males and high blood pressure.

1. Switch from Caffeine and Cigarettes to herbal tea and sleep.
Depressants and addiction influence how we feel more than we'd like to acknowledge but cutting back on habits that make us feel edgy will definitely help your body develop a natural level of mood.
2. What are Human Resources Good For? Not Nothing.
If you are feeling under pressure or one of your working relationships is under strain you wont just be stressing yourself out- it's likely that you'll be underperforming too. HR staff are trained to deal with work conflicts and help you resolve them.
3. Take Breaks.!
We conducted our own survey that suggests a whopping 72% don’t take our full allocated breaks- it's a law for a reason.

Back to the future propoal- most romantic moment ever?

We are big fans of 80's films here at misticon which is why we loved this little story. It'a not the first wedding thats used elements from Back to the Future to make the day that little bit different (we've all heard about the remote control De'loreans used to pick up the bride/groom complete with Michael J Fox look-a-like dressed in a full Marty McFly outfit) but this one is definately a new trick.
New Yorker Corey Goldfeder thought of a unique way to propose to his Back to the Future loving girlfriend Andrea. He hired out a cinema complete with popcorn vendor and full audience to show a very special screening of the 1985 classic film.
Unaware Andrea was suprised after 20 minutes into the film the plot started to skew away from the script and even more sore when she saw her boyfriends face digitally replace that of Michael J Fox and Chris Lloyds "Doc Brown" voice dubbed so the two had a conversation about when Corey would propose.
"At the end of this conversation movie-me turned to face the camera and prompted the real me to propose" said Corey. It worked and the couple married in August 2009. The moment is shortlisted in the ultimate proposal contest.
